These are MY cookies!
I've adapted them from the Toll House cookie recipe,
but they are pretty standard and are super thick with a crispy outside and soft center!
Makes 3 1/2 dozen

- 1/2-3/4 c. chunky peanut butter
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2-3/4 c. rolled oats
- 1 12-oz. bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Season with Love
Directions:
- In large bowl, combine shortening, brown sugar, white sugar, water, and vanilla. Cream together until smooth.
- Add 2 eggs and mix until smooth.
- Add PB until evenly mixed.
- Add flour, soda, and salt until evenly mixed.
- Add rolled oats until evenly mixed,
- Add chocolate chips until evenly mixed and season with love!
- Roll dough into 1 1/2-inch balls, place on cookie sheet, and cook at 350 degrees F for 8-10 minutes. Tops of cookies should be barely golden brown.
- Remove from oven, let sit on cookie sheet for 1-2 minutes before transferring to cookie rack.
